Ford Ecosport: Evaporative Emissions - 2.0L Duratec-HE (129kW/175PS) / Removal and Installation - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Valve

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. • Disconnect the quick connect coupling.
     Refer to: Quick Release Coupling (310-00A Fuel System - General Information - 1.0L EcoBoost (92kW/125PS), General Procedures).
     

1. • Detach the clips.
     
   • Disconnect the quick release couplings and position aside the EVAP purge valve hose.
     Refer to: Quick Release Coupling (310-00A Fuel System - General Information - 1.0L EcoBoost (92kW/125PS), General Procedures).
     

1. • Detach the retainer and disconnect the electrical connector.
     
   • Remove the mounting bracket nuts and remove the EVAP purge valve assembly.
     Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

1. 1. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve bracket.
      

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
