Ford Ecosport: Parking Brake and Actuation / Removal and Installation - Parking Brake Front Cable

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: Left hand drive (LHD) shown, right hand drive (RHD) similar.

1. Remove the parking brake control.
   Refer to: Parking Brake Control (206-05 Parking Brake and Actuation, Removal and Installation).
   

1. 
   Remove the parking brake front cable.
   
   1. Release the parking brake front cable grommet.
      
   2. Remove parking brake front cable from the parking brake control.
      

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. Adjust the parking brake cables.
