Ford Ecosport: Bumpers / Disassembly and Assembly - Front Bumper Cover

General Equipment
DISASSEMBLY
-
Remove the front bumper cover.
Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).

Release the tabs and remove the front bumper lower cover.
-
Release the tabs and remove the front bumper cover.
-
On both sides.
Disconnect the electrical connectors, release the retainer and remove the fog lamp wiring harness.
-
Drill the rivets, remove the pin-type retainers, release the tabs and remove the speed lip.
-
On both sides.
Drill the rivets, release the tabs and remove the front bumper cover assembly.
-
On both sides.
Release the tabs and remove the fog lamp bezel.
-
On both sides.
Remove the screw and the fog lamp assembly.
Torque:
15 lb.in (1.7 Nm)
-
Release the tabs and remove the tow hook cover.
-
Remove the nuts and the front bumper emblem.
Use the General Equipment: Hot Air Gun
Torque:
13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)
-
Release the tabs and remove the upper deflector frame.
-
Release the tabs and remove the upper radiator grille.
-
On both sides.
Drill the rivet and remove the front bumper cover to fender bracket.
ASSEMBLY
-
To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.

Remove the rear bumper cover.
Refer to: Rear Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
Disconnect the rear bumper cover harness electrical connectors...

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The RCM continuously monitors the passenger seatbelt load limiter circuits for the following faults:
Resistance out of range
Unexpected voltage
Short to ground
Faulted passenger seatbelt load limite..
Removal
NOTICE:
During engine repair procedures, cleanliness is extremely
important. Any foreign material, including any material created while
cleaning gasket surfaces, that enters the oil passages, coolant passages
or the oil pan can cause engine failure.
Remove the timing chain.
