Removal

Remove the ignition coil-on-plugs.
Refer to: Ignition Coil-On-Plug (303-07C Engine Ignition - 2.0L Duratec-HE (129kW/175PS), Removal and Installation).

NOTE:
Do not remove the spark plugs when the engine is hot
or cold soaked. Spark plug thread or cylinder head damage can occur.
Make sure the engine is warm (hand touch after cooling down) prior to
spark plug removal.
NOTE:
Only use hand tools when removing or installing the
spark plugs, or damage can occur to the cylinder head or spark plug.
NOTE:
The spark plug procedure must be followed exactly or damage to the cylinder head and spark plug will result.
NOTE:
The spark plug must be positively located in any
assembly aid or tool to prevent the spark plug from falling into the
spark plug location, or damage can occur to the cylinder head or to the
spark plug.
Using compressed air, remove any foreign material from the spark plug well. Remove the spark plugs.
Torque:
133 lb.in (15 Nm)

Overview
The
windshield wiper/washer system is activated by the wiper/washer switch.
The wiper/washer switch is mounted to the right side of the SCCM. The
following functions/ features of the windshield wiper/washer system are:
