Removal
NOTE:

Lower the headliner.
Refer to: Headliner - Lowering (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Place the roof opening panel glass to the fully CLOSE position. If the roof opening panel motor is inoperative
Refer to: Roof Opening Panel Manual Opening (501-17 Roof Opening Panel, General Procedures).

Place the roof opening panel shield to the fully OPEN position.

Remove the roof opening panel motor.

Disconnect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector.

Remove the roof opening panel motor to the roof
opening panel frame retainers and remove the roof opening panel motor.
Torque:
31 lb.in (3.5 Nm)
Installation

NOTE:
When installing the roof opening panel motor, it may
be necessary to turn the roof opening panel motor slightly to engage
the drive splines.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Initialize the power roof opening panel.
Refer to: Power Roof Opening Panel Initialization (501-17 Roof Opening Panel, General Procedures).
