Ford Ecosport: Roof Opening Panel / Removal and Installation - Roof Opening Panel Glass

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Place the roof opening panel shield to the fully OPEN position.
   

1. Place the roof opening panel glass to the VENT position.
   

1. NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

   Remove the retainers.
   Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

1. Remove the roof opening panel glass assembly.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. Align the roof opening panel glass.
   Refer to: Roof Opening Panel Alignment (501-17 Roof Opening Panel, General Procedures).
   

1. Initialize the power roof opening panel.
   Refer to: Power Roof Opening Panel Initialization (501-17 Roof Opening Panel, General Procedures).
