Ford Ecosport: Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control / Removal and Installation - Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - FWD

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: Note the position of the rear wheel speed sensor before removal.

1. Remove the wheel and tire.
   Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Disconnect the electrical connector and detach the wiring retainers.
   

1. NOTICE: Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.

   Detach the wiring retainer, remove the bolt and the rear wheel speed sensor.
   Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

Installation

1. NOTE: Make sure that this component is installed to the noted removal position.

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
