Ford Ecosport: Seatbelt Systems / Removal and Installation - Front Seatbelt Buckle

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.

1. Remove the front seat.
   Refer to: Front Seat (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Detach and disconnect the front seatbelt buckle and position the wiring harness aside.
   

1. 
   Remove the front seatbelt buckle.
   
   1. Detach the pin-type retainers.
      
   2. Remove the bolt.
      Torque: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)

Installation

NOTE: During installation, make sure the seatbelt webbing is not twisted and the seatbelts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. Check the seatbelt system for correct operation.
