Removal
NOTE:

With the vehicle in N , position it on a hoist.
Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

Remove the transmission fluid cooler tubes bracket bolt.
Torque:
89 lb.in (10 Nm)

NOTE:
Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Completely loosen the transmission fluid cooler tube fittings from the cooler bypass valve.

Loosen the nut and remove the cooler bypass valve.
Torque:
80 lb.in (9 Nm)
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Check the transmission fluid level and adjust as necessary.
