Ford Ecosport: Climate Control System - General Information / Removal and Installation - Receiver Drier Element

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the condenser.
   Refer to: Condenser - 1.5L Duratec (90kW/120PS) – I3 (412-00 Climate Control System - General Information, Removal and Installation).
   Refer to: Condenser - 2.0L Duratec-HE (129kW/175PS) (412-00 Climate Control System - General Information, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Remove the receiver drier cap.
   

1. Push the receiver drier plug upwards, remove the receiver drier plug snap ring.
   

1. Install an M5 bolt in the center of the receiver drier plug and remove the receiver drier plug.
   

1. Using a pick tool, remove the receiver drier element.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
