Ford Ecosport: Exterior Trim and Ornamentation / Removal and Installation - Liftgate Moulding

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
   Refer to: Liftgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
   

1. • Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the grommet.
     
   • Remove the nuts.
     Torque: 35 lb.in (4 Nm)

1. • Using a non-marring trim tool, disengage the retainers.
     
   • Remove the liftgate moulding.
     

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
