Removal

Remove the intrusion sensor.

Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the LIN New Module
Initialization procedure (Toolbox> BCM > LIN New Module
Initialization).

NOTE:
This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
Carry out the BCM self-test. Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
and then retrieve the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the BCM to
confirm all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been cleared.

NOTE:
The fuel pump driver module is located under the left front
carpet, attached to the rear of the front floor cross support in front
of the left front seat.
Vehicles with a carpet access flap
Move the left front seat to the full rear position. Lift the carpet access flap up and out of the way.

Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect the
performance of vital components and systems. Failure of these fasteners
may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts if
replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser
quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.
