Ford Ecosport: Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems / Removal and Installation - Hood Latch Release Handle

Removal

  1. Remove the LH instrument panel trim cover.

  1. Remove the hood latch release handle.
    1. Release the hood latch release handle retaining tabs from the instrument panel.
    1. Release the hood latch release cable from the hood latch release handle mounting bracket.
    1. Remove the hood latch release cable eyelet from the hood latch release handle.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
