Removal

  1. Remove the wheel and tire.
    Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

    1. Remove the brake flexible hose bracket bolt.
    1. Disconnect the brake tube fitting and remove the brake hose clip.
    1. Loosen the brake hose fitting and remove the brake flexible hose.

Installation

  1. NOTICE: Make sure that the brake hose is not twisted and correctly aligned when tightening the brake flexible hose fitting or damage to the brake flexible hose may occur.


    1. Install the brake flexible hose bracket bolt.
      Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
    1. Position the brake hose, install the clip and connect the brake tube fitting.
      Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)
    1. Tighten the brake flexible hose fitting.
      Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)
  1. Bleed the brake system.
  1. Install the wheel and tire.
    Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
