Activation

1. Set the ignition switch to the OFF position and apply the parking brake.
   

1. Remove the selector lever bezel trim ring.
   Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. Detach the trim ring and the HVAC control module, disconnect the HVAC control module electrical connectors and remove the trim ring and the HVAC control module as an assembly.
   Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. Position the selector lever trim panel aside.
   Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. Move the brake shift interlock actuator forward, apply the brake pedal and position the selector lever into N .
