Ford Ecosport: Exterior Trim and Ornamentation / Removal and Installation - Rear Fender Splash Shield

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

  1. Disengage the pushpin and the clips, position aside the rocker panel moulding.
  1. Remove the pushpin and the retainers. Remove the rear bumper end cap.
    Torque: 10 lb.in (1.1 Nm)
  1. Remove the LH side rear wheel. Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the pin-type retainers.
  1. Remove the pushpins and the pin-type retainers. Remove the rear fender splash shield.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
