Removal

Remove the battery tray.
Refer to: Battery Tray (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Removal and Installation).

1. Remove the bolt and the pushpin.
  Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
1. Release the clamps and disconnect the heater inlet and outlet hoses.
  Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp(s)
1. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the cabin heater coolant pump.

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fill and bleed the cooling system.
Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding (303-03A Engine Cooling - 1.0L EcoBoost (92kW/125PS), General Procedures).
